HK Child Rescue Ministries and Orphanage current office is located in Iganga district, ¼ km from the central town, off Kampala-Jinja-Iganga high-way about 125 kilometers from Kampala, the Ugandan capital.

HK CHILD RESCUE MINISTRIES AND ORPHANAGE is a non-government, Christian founded, future oriented, spiritual, economical, moral and unsegregative non-denominational organization.

Our Vision is to enhance self reliance where a child will be able to sustain him/herself even without parents or Guardians.

Our Mission is to transform young boys and girls into morally upright, strong and useful men and women who will ensure the achievement and sustainability of peace, love, and respect of children’s rights and turn out to be positively beneficial to the country Uganda and the World as a whole.

The organization currently cares for a total number of forty (40) beneficiaries who stay at their homes with guardians and foster parents.

Uganda has quite a big number of needy orphans and vulnerable children compared to all other countries in Africa and the World today. Most of our beneficiaries are children that have lost their parents because of the killer HIV/AIDS which has been the major cause of deaths in the country for the last three decades and more.

After picking on these children we have devotedly dedicated our selves to supporting them with basic requirements like clothing, beddings, medical care, protection and education as their right, housing and other attached necessities.

Since 2006 HK CHILD RESCUE MINISTRIES AND ORPHANAGE has been on the fight to redeem the ignorantly suffering and blameless children in Uganda. In 2008 the by-then welfare ministry was turned into a community based non-government organization and achieved full registration with the local government in 2008.
